Why is an Aboriginal painting worth millions on a New York gallery wall, while a 46,000 year old painting on rock deemed worthless and blasted away without a thought? Blown Apart is a feature-length documentary about the hypocritical treatment of Aboriginal culture- valued only if it is profitable, yet destroyed when it stands in the way of profit. Through the recent destruction of ancient rock art by mining companies, juxtaposed withthe multi million dollar Aboriginal art trade, this film will reveal a complex story of greed and exploitation.
